Alexandre for breakfast
Alexandre at The Fort is right beside Dunkin Donuts. Very near JP Morgan.
They serve French foods. I have no idea what that should be but we were there, of course, for breakfast.
We had caffe latte and a hot chocolate drink. The latte was good, not amazing. The hot choco was not good. Better than McDonald's (in the Philippines) that's for sure. But homemade hot choco is still the best. If you guys don't know, I'm pretty picky when it comes to food because my mom employs an excellent Kapampangan cook.
The breakfast meals are too expensive. Maybe I'm just not into French food, because I didn't even find them amusing. The dessert, however, is something we'd go back for.

Bo's Coffee - terrible breakfast
Sunday is recovery day. It's when I get zero work done: productivity is below sea level.
No cardio, no weights, no office work. I don't even blog on Sundays.
Sunday is also my happy day. Refeed is what you call it. After a week of strict diet and macro-nutrient counting and keeping my Insulin levels low to promote fat burning, I have Sunday morning to eat processed sugars. For me, that means bread! Pancakes! Waffles!!!
Since Sunday is such a free day (morning). I drag my boyfriend around to try out foods from places we don't usually visit. Last time we went to Bo's Coffee and had their big breakfast meals.
Disappointment. That's what it was.
Expensive and bad. How can you go wrong with pancakes?? They're so easy to make. Heck my instant/just-add-water pancakes are 100% better than theirs. And the eggs?? Terrible. Bland. Ketchup couldn't save it. Dry toast??
Never again.

Pasto - Great meals, not so great desserts
Pasto's servings of sandwiches, pizzas, and pastas are great for their prices. Tasty, filling, not so expensive. Perfect place to hang and dine with friends. Great place to load on carbs after an intense workout. There's one at Fort Bonifacio near Fitness First -- perfectly located!
The desserts, however, are disappointing. I'm not sure why MunchPunch.com doesn't list their desserts in the menu -- do they have different sets of desserts per branch?
They looked cute and appetizing but none were even moderately acceptable in taste or texture.

Dorm Food: Purple Wheat Noodles with Spanish Sardines
This is actually an office food; the dorm I'm staying at doesn't allow us to cook inside.
So I got 1 pack of Purple Wheat Indonesian noodles from Rustan's Supermarket. They were 50% off when I bought them; the only reason I tried it out.

Starbucks Pork Pull Wrap something
It was some kind of mexican-style wrap. At least that's how I thought it tasted.
Not something I missed now that it's phased out.

Seattle's Best Coffee breakfast
Got a Sausage and Mushroom Omelette with French Toast for breakfast (post workout).
I expected it to look somewhat healthful... but it was greasy and the omelette was kinda bland. I'm glad I had it for take out because there's ketchup in the office and that helped.
I've always been a fan of bread so, of course, I love french toasts. Theirs were pretty good. Not amazing; definitely expensive. But I enjoyed it.
Verdict: Expensive. Delicious. Bring your own ketchup if you plan to dine in.

Pancakes at Pancake House
Pancake House serves pretty good pancakes. I couldn't say they're amazing; I can probably make them myself if I had the patience to get the recipe and do the groceries... I think I should do that sometime.
Nevertheless, we enjoy going there for breakfast especially on Sunday mornings. Drink a serving of whey protein upon waking up, shower and dress up for mass, then drive to Pancake House for coffee and pancakes.
Perfect.
But if you're REALLY into pancakes, I'd still go for Heaven 'n Eggs.
