On our fifth day in Las Vegas, the newly wed Sanchez's took us to:
1. Rio's lunch buffet
2. Caesar's Palace
3. MGM
4. CSI Experience exhibit
5. M&M's World
6. Coca Cola World
Rio's lunch buffet (am I saying "buffet" every day??) was, of course, amazing. My people loooooves food and we go gaga when there's a lot of its good kind. My diabetic dad had to really control himself when he faced the dessert shelf.
Right after the lunch buffet, we caught the puppet play in Caesar's Palace.
I forgot what it was about and it's more for kids, really really young kids. If you're a big spender then you'd enjoy shopping there.
Then we went to MGM (same place where Manny Pacquaio wins his fights?). We had a good look at the real lions (and lion balls flat on the ceiling glass) but couldn't take a good picture of them.
At MGM, we were in luck to see that there was a CSI Experience exhibit. The tickets were hella expensive, but whatever. We had fun!
It's amazing how Las Vegas changes spirit at daytime. Although it's infested with grand buildings, the clear sky and warm weather gives it a different feel -- you kinda forget that on the same street, people stumble around with beer bongs on their heads.
At M&M's World, they had huge pipes filled with different flavored M&M's. You get a plastic bag and fill it with chocolate. By the time you reach the cashier, you'd have eaten half of the bag and they wouldn't care. It's the perfect pasalubong (souvenirs/gifts for friends back home). I suggest you try their chocolate bars -- we don't have them in the Philippines so I enjoyed it a lot.
In Coca Cola World, we had our pictures taken with the uberly cute polar bear mascot. But the true highlight was having the 16 Flavors of the World -- 16 different coca cola softdrink flavors from all over the world.
Lastly, we went up to a rooftop (were we back at Rio's?) for a breathtaking view of Las Vegas.
