Nothing's for FREE, not even in Robinson's Supermarket

I bought:
(1) Sugar Free chocolate Ice Cream for my dad
(2) Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream for everybody else
and took a Philadelphia Cream Cheese bar with a FREE sticker on it from the shelf.

On the counter, I was asked to pay for the Philadelphia Cream Cheese.

The cashier lady clearly didn't know what to do at first because there WAS a free sticker on it. And when she excused herself to check on it, she found out what I saw: every single Philadelphia Cream Cheese item had a Robinson Supermarket FREE Sticker on it, and half of the stock was expired.

The supervisor appeared to "clear things out" and told me that they're not actually free. I didn't want to argue any longer so I just paid for it and hoped to get reimbursed once I filed a complaint.

Complaints go to: http://www.robinsons-supermarket.com.ph/aboutus/feedback.htm, which doesn't even list down Luisita, Tarlac branch (the branch I'm concerned with) and you get an error when you try to post a feedback.

Perfect.

  2. Here in Brazil, we have a joke, that's like this [I'm sorry in advance for the translation]:

The guy is in a restaurant, and he asks the waitress:
    "How much is the coffe?"
    And she:
    "US$0,50"
    "What about the sugar?"
    She:
    "It's for free!"
    And the guy:
"Then, give me 5 bags of sugar!"

    Got it?
I don't know for sure if it is well translated.
