Tolerance or kiss-assery?

There's a fine line between "tolerance" and "kiss-assery".

Tolerance:

• Accepting the fact that as much as you like Lady Gaga because she's a performance artist who is not afraid to express herself, some people see "unique" as "freak"
• Accepting the fact that as much as you think Twilight gives you brain damage, others consider it as the best novel series in the entire universe and will practically bite your head off if you say that Harry Potter is better
• Accepting the fact that people blog about their experiences instead of your own

Kiss-assery:

• Discovering that your neighbor is a pedophile and you say, "Hey, to each his own!"

Suicide - is it YOUR fault?

The question was, "if your son died and the last thing he had before he died was an argument with his girlfriend, would you blame the girlfriend for your son's death?"

It's a simple question. And my simple answer is "no".
Of course I would naturally feel evilly bad towards the girlfriend because of that situation but that wouldn't mean I would blame her. Suicide is suicide. There's a reason why we distinguish "killing yourself" from "murder". Blaming the girlfriend amounts to thinking she murdered your son instead of accepting that your son killed himself -- it may seem like a long shot, but that's how I see it. And hey, this is my blog. If you disagree, feel free to comment but stop harassing me to write what you think is right (make your own damn blog if you want to).

Shooting Range fee......Php200
Gun rent.......................Php400

Bullets...........................Php600 for 50 rounds

Target sheet................Php12 per piece

Annual membership is Php2,000.

That's pretty cheap since you won't have to pay for shooting range fee and gun rent.

Setting up an appointment for (German) visa application

This afternoon, I went to the German Embassy to set up an appointment for my visa application -- you see, it's free if you go personally and it's hella expensive if you use their call center services.

Unfortunately, the earliest visa application appointment they can give me is later than my reserved flight ticket. So that sucks. The nice Filipino woman on the other side of the seemingly bullet proof window told me that applicants who set an appointment via their call center services are given priority so I'll have a high chance of getting an appointment schedule before the end of the month.
